Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, your safety is always our utmost priority in 'normal time' with risk assessed locations, full public liability and professional indemnity cover and safe and secure practices.

Now more than ever in these unprecedented times we endeavour to ensure we maintain the high standards we set ourselves as well as adhere to each and every piece of legislation and guidance to protect both our clients and their experience with us but also, and hugely important to us, the safety and wellbeing of the communities we work within on our residential workshops. The nature of the experiences we offer means we often work in remote rural communities that have very different access to medical services and emergency services than we may be used to. That is why our focus is also to ensure we both respect these remote communities but also protect them by strictly adhering to guidelines. After all many of the local residents in these very communities we work in on our residential workshops we now know well and are proud to consider them friends ensuring when we do visit we are always welcome and take an active part in supporting the community.

We know the times we are in offer much uncertainty so anyone who books with R&K Photographic will be covered by our covid guarantee meaning:

  • If R&K Photographic have to cancel a workshop completely we will refund our clients completely including deposits.
  • If government guidelines or current restrictions mean dates are not feasible for a workshop pre booked, we will work with our providers to reschedule and offer alternative date options to ensure we fulfil our workshop experience for our clients.
  • If you have to self-isolate or do not feel safe and comfortable to travel, we will happily reschedule you onto an alternative date for your booked workshop with us.

All workshops which are safe to go ahead under current guidelines at the time will do so with peace of mind that all of our partners and providers have all been selected for the stringent way they maintain cleanliness and support / adhere all local and national guidelines.

 

We have worked hard with our providers to ensure they meet our standards and also allow us to meet the strict government and local guidelines, as a mark of the work we have done we are proud to have achieved the 'Good To Go' mark from Visit Britain. All workshops will be assessed no later than one month before departure for current restrictions and we will reschedule any workshop that cannot take place due to the restrictions at the time. If government guidelines change in this four-week period, we will contact all our clients booked on an affected workshop as soon as we hear and work with them to reschedule and move people on to new dates.

If a client wishes to cancel completely due to the Covid situation our normal 'non-refundable deposit' policy and 'final balance 3 months prior to departure' policy will still apply although as a gesture of goodwill given the extreme circumstances we will try and resell the space and offer a refund if we are successful minus an administration charge to cover any expenses incurred on R&K Photographic and not covered due to the cancellation. Our customers are our utmost priority and many re-book time and again, year on year, but as a small business we do have to ensure we are also protected as are the many small businesses that supply accommodation, vehicles and supplies for our workshop. We will always aim to support local businesses to us and local businesses in the communities where our workshops take place. 

We look forward to continuing to work with existing customers and welcoming on board new ones, and as you all do, are hoping for safer and more certain times for everyone. We hope our supporting Covid guarantee offers the confidence to book on workshops that will only ever be operated in the safest manner and following all guidelines.
